The OD on both 241 inputs for 32 or 27 spline is the same, the only difference is a large chamfer on the 27 spline input OD. A 32 spline input would bolt up the exact same as a 27 spline to your tailshaft, the 27 spline tranny output would just spin freely in the t-case input. The bolt patterns are the exact same.

Hi all, first post here. I'm dropping in a '95 4.3L CPI into an off-road/on-road vehicle I'm building and need some help with my tranny options. I have a 700R4 now but want to go back to a stick. The only options out there for me now are the NV3500 or NV4500. The 4500 is big bucks and tough to find whereas the 3500's are everywhere. This is a NP-241 Transfer case for a drivers side front drive shaft, with 27 teeth on the Female input spline.
